Spanky's Story

Since opening our doors in 1976, Spanky’s has always been an independent locally owned and operated restaurant. Located at 7210 South Loop East across from Gulfgate Center & 5 minutes from Hobby airport, Spanky’s is an institution of Houston's East End. Our menu offers a wide variety of Italian specialties…….pizzas, pastas, poboys and salads . The atmosphere at Spanky’s is best described as “100% neighborhood” friendly. It’s just a great place to relax & enjoy a good meal for a reasonable price.

We’re proud of the special care we take to make your meal a special occasion. We have always used the finest ingredients and traditional preparation methods. No shortcuts are taken. For example, real 100% cheeses are used and our pizza doughs, as well as all our sauces, are made fresh every day. Spanky’s never uses any sulfites nor do we use any preservatives in any of our menu items.

Every meal is created as it is ordered. We do not hold any prepared meal under heat. We teach our staff to serve your meal hot, fresh & quickly. The quality, consistency, goodness and value in our food is maintained by our continued efforts to select, prepare and serve you only the finest product available.

Spanky’s also offers beer, wine & our almost famous margaritas in an 18 ounce schooner.

We open daily at 11am for lunch, dinner & late night.
